firstPRO is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support our client’s operational growth through a hybrid contract (with potential for contract-to-hire) opportunity based in Wall Township, NJ. This role requires a blend of Project Management and Business Analysis expertise to oversee and execute two critical IT infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Upgrade networks across multiple locations, including core and edge network switches.
- Oversee fiber optics upgrades between MDFs and IDFs where necessary.
- Manage purchasing, configuration, planning, and overnight cutovers to new hardware.
- Coordinate efforts between sites, vendors, and corporate IT.
- Conduct deep requirements gathering, planning, and execution phases.
- Transition from on-premises PBX systems to a new VoIP solution across multiple locations.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, planning, and vendor coordination.
- Document and address unique needs of each location while leveraging shared processes.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management roles.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Monday.com and Smartsheet (preferred).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
- Exceptional work ethic and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites in New Jersey, as needed.
